Economic Development

Howard Electric Cooperative takes an active role in economic development for Howard County and our service territory.  Richard Fowler, Howard Electric CEO, donates his time to serve as chairman for both the Howard County Economic Development Advisory Board and the Howard County Economic Development Council.

Howard Electric is proud to work with Howard county in marketing the Howard County Industrial Park near Fayette, Missouri.  Forty-five acres of land are currenlty available for industrial development in the Howard county Industrial Park on State Route DD.  Click here to learn more about the available land.

Howard Electric is also an investing entity of the Howard County Economic Development Council who employs JoAnn Sumner as the "County-Wide" economic developer for Howard County.
